The Daughters
On the larger loop trail that circles the area near the Hoh Rainforest campground, there is an opportunity to walk right up to a HUGE root ball of a fallen tree. Beyond it, looking down the length of the fallen tree, a new forest is growing as young trees grow out of the tremendous, huge nurse log. These two daughter trees’ graceful roots grip the body of the mother tree as they grow, and their pose is one of love and reverence.
This is a 15” x 24” (paper size is 17”x26”) print reproduction of an original oil painting. It is printed in giclee ink on archival, textured paper ready for framing.
