Embrace
Anyone who has visited the Hoh Rainforest Campground in the Olympic National Park in Washington will likely recognize these three sisters growing and embracing each other and their mother nurse log. They are right off the trail that runs in a loop near the campground. This group is so interesting to me in that the group is very figurative and gestural, revealing the slow, ecstatic embrace of the layers of life in an ancient forest.
